Musashi: Samurai Legend - PS2
This game took me ~30 hours to complete on normal mode. Its the second game in the series, the first being on the PSX(ps1). This game is very underrated. I looked for at least 5 hours for information on this game, prior to buying it, and only found a few pages of information. I personally loved this game. The game itself is done in a type of shell shading, but don't let that steer you away from buying this game. I dislike shell shading, like Zelda: The Wind Waker, but they did this game a bit different, and I actually quite liked it. Its like a hack-n-slash game, with rpg elements. Its not too hard of a game, but it can be tricky in some parts. The game has a lot of different things, other than the story line. It has a duplicate system, which means by targeting something, after your focus gauge fills, when an enemy attacks, theres an exclamation point that appears. At that moment, if you hit square, you can duplicate the enemies attack, and thus gain a new skill. Not all enemies' attacks can be learned, and some enemies you need a higher focus, at least 150 focus, to learn their skills, but trust me, its worth it. Musashi: Samurai Legends, also has a great storyline. The story line goes in chapters, but doesn't leave you hanging at parts like other game I'd rather not speak of. The one thing this game does fail at though, is the voices. I'm not saying they're deplorable, but they're not uh...great. The voices aren't filled with much emotion, and they don't always convey the point that the character is trying to portray. Even though the voices aren't great, this is still a very good game. I give it an 8/10. It kept me interested through the entire game, and I recommend it to anyone.
